Conditions

Private Children's Physiotherapy may be necessary if you are having difficulty obtaining an NHS referral, or if there appears to be a long waiting time for NHS Physiotherapy.  Your child may also benefit from additional therapy to compliment therapy received from the NHS.

Katherine has a great deal of respect for therapists working in the NHS and is happy to support and work in conjunction with them. Private physiotherapy sessions can be arranged in between NHS sessions in order to maximise outcomes.

Please contact Katherine for a FREE telephone consultation if:

  • your child is delayed or slower than you had expected to walk, crawl, sit or roll

  • your baby was premature and having difficulties reaching milestones for their corrected age

  • you have noticed that your child is struggling to keep up with other children their age at school / in the playground

  • you feel your child looks awkward and clumsy when walking or moving, and trips a lot

  • you have concerns about your child's posture / foot position / leg position

  • your child has suffered an injury or fracture and is struggling to recover

  • your child requires post-op rehab eg: SDR surgery

  • your child has been diagnosed with a condition where Physiotherapy is beneficial such as Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Hypermobility, Plagiocephaly, Torticollis or Erbs Palsy

Please note that this is not a definitive list of conditions. If your child has a condition that is not listed here, or you have any other concerns, please contact Katherine for a FREE telephone consultation to discuss things further.
